First few days as a family of 4! Henley's sweet family invited me into their home to capture their first moments as a family of 4! Big brother Nolan loved taking pictures....but when he was told he was done, he started doing flips on the bed!

365 | February Another month in the books, 10 to go! This has been a fun project for me. I really think this is helping me grow as an artist...plus it's fun to think of new things everyday! I love taking pictures outdoors, so this winter has really pushed me out of my comfort zone to find the best light.

Sticking with the snow theme this week. We just got snow yesterday, so it seems fitting! Although, I am definitely ready for warmer weather. This is a throwback Thursday to last Christmas when I took lifestyle photos for a couple with a 6 month old....puppy in Pewaukee! Seriously, if I could photograph puppies and kids all the time.... :)
This was a fun session....the couple was great, they even got in a few frames!

These two were troopers at their snowy Delafield session! Early last December, a snow storm was coming in right as we were starting our session. By the end of it we were all covered in snow. This has to be one of my favorite snow sessions to date!

Baby Quinn rocked her first photoshoot! I had the opportunity to photograph her in the comfort of her own home at just 5 days old. What a little sweetheart. The family dog was an awesome 'big sister' during the session too! <3
Hi Everyone! I'm doing a 365 project this year to try to capture all the little details of our busy lives right now. In the past, I always tried to create the "perfect" photo. I mean, really? Is that how I want to remember these days? So, I am challenging myself to think outside the box. Everything doesn't HAVE to be perfect. The house can be a mess, L's hair can be unbrushed.... You get the idea. This type of photography speaks to me. It tells a story. I'm amazed how far I've grown in just one month!
